Today i`ll provide the rest of Vogue Paris eds content. Here is "from runway to reality" version of studio shoot viewed by Alt. 8 designers total looks or combined with loafers, jeans every fucking time! Alt simply can`t see any of item without jeans and street fashion is certainly means sneakers/sporty/teenager outward. That`s truly dull, actually, no imagination+ total looks. Can you imagine something more repetitive and boring, though there is some nice combo, so be ready for my comments to each look, because that shoot is only about styling and how you can manage it. I love that kind of "tutorials", because then magazine play his main role- help readers get ahead in reaching that tough goal- be fashionable without turning into fashion victim.

Play for today: Exclusive Vogue Paris december 2011/january 2012

As always, i am sharing with you so much anticipated advanced copy of Vogue paris (it comes out 5th december, a week later when it was announced, futhermore official sale in France usually starts 25th, this month it supposed to be 29th). Here comes my detailed review. Kate Moss cover without inside editorial. Yes, maybe i am fashion soothsayer, because i forcasted what fast or slow but Vogue Paris turned into the magazine in pre-Roitfeld condition (joan Juliet Buck latest years) when famous and A-level contributors didn`t accept an invitation to work for that edition. That way (expensive cover without ed inside) was very often practised back in 1997-2000. I think the reason was lack of money, because cover gives a ton to the whole publication and you should spend more money on it, even if the content would be bland as hell.

Concerning following photoshoot: it is the best one out of all the issue, imo (Half a loaf is better than no bread), because there`s simply no better option... Arizona in quite tasteless white/golden snazzy outfits.

Play for today: Vogue Paris november 2011

Another issue under Emmanuelle Alt. Each new issue i feel how much i miss Carine... Lately, till march 2011 (final issue under Carine) i was always awaiting with anxiety for a new issue to come out, to see editorials, to see what else can Carine offer, invent, how she can astonish, and i can`t say what i loved everything- there was lots of things i can`t accept, but the only one thing i admired quite often- her styling, because for me she is very talented stylist (and one of the rarest with her personal and unique vision). In that issue you can see no new models, no new contributors, nothing new, no provocative vibe (why we loved Vogue Paris so much), no sex, just nothing... Vogue Paris risking to turn into absolutely faceless publication, because some stories reminds me of Self service (Natasha Poly/ Terry Richardson), some- of Vogue UK (Lara Stone), some- even US Vogue (Raquel Haute Couture editorial), Vogue Paris is loosing his own signature, so memorable and selling out so good... Now it is just like something what lost his own statement and it is a disaster...We need new editor- in- cheif! Carine will be okay for sure with her new upcoming magazine (looking forward with anticipation) but i am not quite sure what Vogue Paris will have same future... But i know, what i already fed up with yelps and unstoppable nostalgia. Here is the cover story- beauty editorial feature 6 girls. Arizona Muse is gracing on the cover. Btw, i saw somewhere what it is Alessandra Ambrosio (and not Izabel Goulart) and i was so surprised what i almost mixed them up myself, however i don`t find them similair except that editorial.

Play for today: Self service f/w 2011 # 35

so, freshly out self service. i Must say, not bad issue overall: great Glen Luchford/ Malgosia story taken in my always beloved L.A., nice and very uncommon Ezra Petronio/ Anja Rubik story where Anja is looking very "dynasty" movie in posh interiors in b/w (finally not annoying studio polaroids), very starnge first contribution of Miakel Jansson featuring Aymelene and Ginta, outdoor shoots taken in urban brooklyn area, very much reminding me of Daniel Jackson contribution for Self service and it is quite stupid to get an A-list photographer, new for your publication to make him doing same thing that`s been done before by less top-rated photographer... But we have to get back to this story : this reminds me very much of Lara stone/ McLellan story for november Uk Vogue 2010. 60s mood, london, very girly and feminine relaxed looks and soopa- flats ( i adore that kind of shoes) Arizona wears this style perfectly, but i am not fond of Daphne and i personnaly like that she`s like a back -vocalist here, `cause Arizona totally outshines her with her nice and so simple appearance... Some of shots are, out-takes  i believe, but don`t know which one exactly, full spread is waiting for you under the cut.

Play for today: vogue paris october 2011, exclusive!

As often happens, i got my hands on advanced copy of Vogue paris. If only that would be Carine Roitfeld issue...then i`d be so freakin` happy. here, it is Emmanuelle, and it is so bland... David sims, inez and vinoodh, mario sorrenti and Mert& marcus from issue to issue again and again. Tons of very cheap and lame advertising, which i haven`t even heared about, because it havent ever been published in vogue paris before (about 300 pages and only 100 of editorials) I remember only bulgari, chanel, gucci, vuitton and isabel marant from an A-list advertisers... so the things arent going so well with vogue paris. and my bet what in one year we`ll gonna have another editor- in -chief, because emmanuelle can`t afford the direction of that publication...for 7 issue she destroyed the magazine, which have been builded during 10 years by Carine. it`s a shame...

Play for today : Arizona Muse

I know, it`s not news, but here is the complete ad campaign, plus 2 unseen yet images (not the successful ones, but whatever...). This time Arizona is doing much more campaigns, than previous season (+J Uniqlo, Alberta Ferretti, YSL Beauty (going on), Jil Sander navy and, perhaps, Stella McCartney, maybe even more)- so , you see, she`s on fire...This is the secound season for Jil Sander Navy line (it is been marketed as the secound line of Jil Sander: simplier, but on the same level of the price and sold in the same stores as Jil main pret-a-porter line. I must say, in real life this clothes looks much more disparagingly, than on advertising. Here it`s plain, clean and minimalistic in a good ascetic way, in shop i saw it and found it uninteresting, too simple, and a bit cheap-looking. But bravo to Jil Sander creative and art-directors team, because they done their work on A+. The goal is reached. ) Speaking about that f/w campaign: they changed model (Valerija on Arizona. i luv `em both, so i don`t mind), photographer (previous time it was David Sims), and, stylist, i suppose (this time, my bid on Olivier Rizzo, though i am not sure it`s him, but previous time it was Beat Bolliger). But they left the concept of clear and graphic b/w shots, a bit more touching and tender this time, a bit more severe in s/s 11 ones. Overall, it is good, but there is one problem (from my standpoint):it is very easy to mix up that campaign with +J Uniqlo. It is also Jil Sander, it is also Arizona and again that minimal stuff and studio shots. Othervise, i`m not complaining...

First of all, i decided to share with you, guys, one of my ideas, i think, it should be much more amusing, than all the stuff i`ve done before. So, without foreplays, the idea is what i will announce the today`s theme in the title of each of my posts (and if you`re a bit interested and considerate, you can observe what if i post something, it is usual several posts in a row) . It is like, you know, " play for today" . I `ve actually done it before (if you`re regardant then again), but i haven`t had a clear concept in my head, so now i do. So hope, you like it.

today, i am playing with Arizona Muse- the muse of muses in today`s fashion circles. If, however speak concretely about this post, this is the secound Arizona`s work feauturing Lachlan, and, for me, this is the best out of all the contribution done by Bailey for UK Vogue. Very moody, very 70`s , and a bit shook-up... I like especially b/w pictures. BTW, 4 unpublished shots in that set for your attention, please...The set was taken in NYC.

I personally haven`t seen the whole thing, so here we go. CFDA journal publish each year dated to Council of fashion designers of America awards. I remember once Alasdair McLellan took it with Freja and Behati, once- Mikael Jansson with Raquel. But this is the first time it is very high-proile case, i mean it is reported and reflected very active in web, media, all sources. Maybe because of casts and Inez & Vinoodh. You can see now who won all these things in the internet. I can only show you nominees and 3 winners.

it`s not often You see Dazed publications here, yes, just because i am not a fan of this mag, and i am buying it maximum once per year. But it`s not often You can see dazed dedicated its whole issue to model, only started her career. That ed havent been posted and i think that alongside with Sharif Hamza editorial it is the best out of all the issue. Styling is weird, though i am thinking what Mel is very handsome man)

New, yet unposted in full version editorial. Her fresh work (alongside wit Love magazine styled by Rizzo and taken by Vanderperre- can`t post it at this time, it is uncomplete and in bad quality) I have to say, what this is also in quite poor quality, but come and have potluck with us.
