Another Saskia work. I am admiring her, she is my favorite of the moment. I started to believe in fashion business when i learned how old is she now (and she is 29) and it`s unbelievable age for a big start of modeling career. after her debut i understhood what the reason of that legendary stupidity and blankness of models is their age and the age when they just had started: strictly after school or even without taking high school and right after that they are entering this big and quite sick fashion world with all its imposition of ideals of life: youth, beauty, money, success, fame etc. But getting back to Saskia, whom i find the most inspiring model of the moment, i adore her body: it is absolutely sculptural and so photogenic.Despite this so-so styling and photography of the same quality, it is still showing off her varsatilityAnd i really home to see her in upcoming Balenciaga campaign (i believe, she will be feauture in it, since she was many times in all that promotional stuff for s/s collection and hope to see her in upcoming fall barney`s NYC campaign/ magazine since this is Carine Roitfeld , who have been chosen on position of stylist /consultant for Barney`s (bravo!) and working on it now with Mario Sorrenti, and Carine loves Saskia. Go ahead, Saskia!

Best cover out of all 4 issued by I-d to celebrate the beginning of the spring season. not bad issue overall, even though i am buying i-d once or twice per year last time. And a nice make-up /portrait series taken by australian photographer Emma Summerton. Luminous skin, bold but beautiful make-up and great 90`s style fake-piercing (i adore pierced nose in that place- kind of Stella Tennant rebellious style)

Matt Jones -son of founder of I-D magazine Terry Jones create sometimes pretty attractive work. I must say, what most of these images havent been published in original magazine. Overall, Jones work are extremely boring, being published in ELLE magazine of different countries he`s certainly became less creative, than he was in Vogue Paris, for example.

I-D spring 2010

Freja Beha by Emma Summerton
styled by Edward Enninful

Freja is on the cover. Tbh, i was waiting for more, at least for a larger editorial since she`s on the cover. But you will never know with I-D, cause Sasha `s got other cover and only one image inside... I love what finally not only androyiny Freja here, but i don`t like that still they made her try on mannish image- thats as corny as Lara being Brigitte Bardot. Gah! though i love Freja being in `80s stylistics- somehow `Dynasty` looking on the first image behind the cut. she`s wearing same image in her last W editorial feauturing Raquel shoot by Inez and Vinoodh and she`s looking good in it!
