Today i`ll provide the rest of Vogue Paris eds content. Here is "from runway to reality" version of studio shoot viewed by Alt. 8 designers total looks or combined with loafers, jeans every fucking time! Alt simply can`t see any of item without jeans and street fashion is certainly means sneakers/sporty/teenager outward. That`s truly dull, actually, no imagination+ total looks. Can you imagine something more repetitive and boring, though there is some nice combo, so be ready for my comments to each look, because that shoot is only about styling and how you can manage it. I love that kind of "tutorials", because then magazine play his main role- help readers get ahead in reaching that tough goal- be fashionable without turning into fashion victim.

Play for today: Exclusive Vogue Paris december 2011/january 2012

As always, i am sharing with you so much anticipated advanced copy of Vogue paris (it comes out 5th december, a week later when it was announced, futhermore official sale in France usually starts 25th, this month it supposed to be 29th). Here comes my detailed review. Kate Moss cover without inside editorial. Yes, maybe i am fashion soothsayer, because i forcasted what fast or slow but Vogue Paris turned into the magazine in pre-Roitfeld condition (joan Juliet Buck latest years) when famous and A-level contributors didn`t accept an invitation to work for that edition. That way (expensive cover without ed inside) was very often practised back in 1997-2000. I think the reason was lack of money, because cover gives a ton to the whole publication and you should spend more money on it, even if the content would be bland as hell.

Concerning following photoshoot: it is the best one out of all the issue, imo (Half a loaf is better than no bread), because there`s simply no better option... Arizona in quite tasteless white/golden snazzy outfits.

Play for Today: exclusive Vogue Paris November 2011

Haute Couture editorial with already familiar combo: Raquel/Inez/Vinoodh/Emmanuelle. Raquel pulling weird faces, making a snoot, jumping all around and looks a bit Tina Turner to me (hair, short dresses) Overall, i don`t know why, but editorial seems like was done for Vogue USA, but all these pics were out-takes because of strange emotions on the face, which can be misundersthood by US Vogue audience.

Play for today: vogue paris october 2011, exclusive!

As often happens, i got my hands on advanced copy of Vogue paris. If only that would be Carine Roitfeld issue...then i`d be so freakin` happy. here, it is Emmanuelle, and it is so bland... David sims, inez and vinoodh, mario sorrenti and Mert& marcus from issue to issue again and again. Tons of very cheap and lame advertising, which i haven`t even heared about, because it havent ever been published in vogue paris before (about 300 pages and only 100 of editorials) I remember only bulgari, chanel, gucci, vuitton and isabel marant from an A-list advertisers... so the things arent going so well with vogue paris. and my bet what in one year we`ll gonna have another editor- in -chief, because emmanuelle can`t afford the direction of that publication...for 7 issue she destroyed the magazine, which have been builded during 10 years by Carine. it`s a shame...

For those, who don`t know, Neiman Marcus is a luxury american departament store and this advertorial was feauture in their catalog season fall/ winter 2005. They usually publish a part of their catalogs in US editions of W and Vogue in the official season- opening issues:september`s and march`s, so it seems like it`s more advertising. Just as well as lots of departaments stores in USA are making their own catalogs (as bergdorf goodman (it`s neiman marcus group propriety), bloomingdale, barney`s NYC, saks and nordstrom) neiman does it. i think, this is the only time when infamous duo worked for Neiman, and it was just the beginning of a climbing on fashion Olympus for young Anja. Back then it was like one year when they co-worked with photographing couple, but they felt in love with miss Rubik since their first shot. now she`s one of their favs in the same row with Raquel, Daria and Jess Miller yet (i hope, they `ll get back to work with her)

After a loong pause they finally launched selfservice magazine official site! the contents is amazing. it contains eds from every issue, though only in last issues you can see full photosessions material+ some out-takes, haven`t been published in magazine. The early issues got only several pics of each shooting. That issue - the previous one f/w 2010 became collector`s issue  really fast. even at the beginning of sales you can`t manage to find a copy I think the reason is not Joe McKenna special issue, but a huge feauture with Miss Moss taken by her good old friend- Juergen Teller. Here is Joe McKenna cover story. i have to say, Stella looks amazing as always, very young. there is not too much looks, each of them were shot 3-4 times during all photosession. Lack of money, as usual, i guess, because it is self service thing: to book  expensive casts and make a long story, most of pictures should become out-takes, but they putted it in the magazine. so instead a normal  usual 25 pages feauture we `re having 65...they did indeed long stories several years ago, you see, what it took them about a week to capture the story, but i can`t say the same thing about this one.

to continue the theme of white background and bright colours:i find this ed kind of similair to the previous one i`ve posted. though, i think cindy is unbelievably skinny here. she was always known for her muscular too american body of work, here she looks burned out. Styling is pretty tacky, though , i can remember Cindy beeing only twice published in Vogue Paris during Carine government. and it is always weird- looking...

another new and yet unseen. "Optical illusion" stuff executed by Malgosia. I must say, she looks like a weird punky clown with strange (and inadequate)mimic. This is so strange thing i just observed about Emmanuelle Alt styling which i usually hate and this time this is not an exception: her manner to combine clothes is awesome unwearable. i mean, she took very common and neuthral clothes which You can wear easily in your life, but her way to make a styling with them is totally awkward and impossible. it is just all totally wrong. but this way Vogue Paris will look longtime yet so we should be prepared to...

Patti Smith, David Bowie, Prince - Glam Rock in its pop version. I am not found of styling (i haven`t ever been actually, everytime made by Melanie Ward, fashion editor of US Bazaar and now consultant at Balmain`s fashion house instead Emmanuelle Alt, who is now in the chair of editor-in-chief of Paris Vogue) But now we should be prapared to Melanie invasion on pages of Vogue Paris, since Emmanuelle decided to make her a part of her new team. Rock`n`roll chic fucked up yet, i must say.

retrospective/ series

Pretty unusual stuff for marant: location coloriful shots and 4 images instead 3. Eventhough, all Marant campaign are done in a slipshod manner: there `s always a feeling, what shots have been done during another big shot for Vogue paris and these camapign images are out-takes or something. For example, that set been done during Vogue Paris shooting in Maroc  (feauturing daria and emmanuelle) and style of this is totally Vogue paris april 2010 feauturing Natasha Poly. another acknowledgment and confession, what fashion and advertising photo as a genre run dry. btw, clothing are just awkward and disgusting, tbh
